I love the English countryside in winter. Today we woke up to four inches of snow blanketing the garden.
I decided to make the most of keeping warm inside by hand-crafting christmas presents out of some leftover wire. I am quite delighted with my chickens and my rabbits, which I took pictures of in the snow.
They are bent to shape using one continuous piece of wire and then drilled into stone or wood to stand.
Note. If the sculpture is left outside it will rust. To preserve the wire, you can spray with paint or protect it from damp conditions. Personally I think the rust adds a little character.
