Learn the traditional art of willow weaving !

Hello everyone! Sincere apologies for not having updated this old chestnut for a while. The willow season tends to slow down during the winter months. However, I have just had a wonderful delivery of beautiful different coloured willow arrive, absolutely perfect for all sorts of designs and structures.
I will be running several courses so please scan over the following poster and see if any of these are to your taste.
If you are interested in booking a place or request further information please call Simon on:

Hope you all had a brilliant christmas and new year and look forward to weaving with you soon!

My Pheasants flying in to sculpture show on June 19th!

I've made these little fellows, aptly names Twiggy and Bob, out of locally sourced red dog-wood and yellow willow for the Fresh Air Art Sculpture Show 2011! Though the event officially opens on June 19th, there is already a buzz in the air! I simply cannot wait to have a good old fashioned family day outing! Looking forward to seeing everyone there, this is a must-see event for all ages.

Going fishing at Hailey Primary School fete on the 21st of May!

After discovering this beautiful yellow-red shade of locally sourced willow, I decided to create these little fish to bob about on willow rods in the garden. They add a cheerful touch of colour and movement.

These are a favourite for children as they can easily join in with the making of them.
I shall be doing a hands-on demonstration at Hailey Primary school in Oxon on the 21st of May from 3-6pm.
